On Monday May 9th, the Totino-Grace Eagles boys lacrosse team played the Centennial Cougars and lost with a score of 11-7. This games made the Eagles 3-4 on the season. Team captain Hayden Lacy said, “We had a lot of things in the game that needed to be corrected. On a different day I believe we would beat the team. Everyone has bad days I guess.”

The following Wednesday the Eagles played the Elk Rivers Elks at home and lost 8-5. The team played well against a good team but didn’t find the success they were looking for. Coach Beckfeld said, “It’s hard to be upset with a team when they give their all. Sometimes the tide isn’t in your favor.” Beckfeld has major confidence in his team and believe next week will bring up more wins for the team.

Next Wednesday is senior night. The Eagles will take on Maple Grove at Jim Totino Stadium. Come support the team and the seniors as their season slowly starts to wind down.
