When you hear term “getting one’s eyebrows done,” what do you think of? For guys, you would not think they get them done, and for most girls it is almost every 2 weeks. This is a very interesting topic because people are very different. Some girls don’t get their eyebrows done and have naturally nice eyebrows. Other girls get them done regularly and still don’t look as good as some who don’t get theirs done. Generally, guys don’t get theirs done, and if they do it is before big events. ENN conducted multiple interviews concerning this topic and got a variety of fluctuating answers.

     When asking guys if they got their eyebrows done it was a straight “no” with a goofy face asking, “Why would you think that?” Senior Edward Chomilo was asked if he got his eyebrows done, responding, “ No, why would you ask that?” When asking senior James Streeter he said, “No,” then laughed at me for asking the question. After talking to Qomoo Atomsa about getting his eyebrows done he said,”When I have a photo shoot I get them done, but I have mine shaved and plucked.” While talking to senior Daniel Jacobs, he told me he gets his eyebrows shaved every once in awhile since his eyebrows grow rapidly. During questioning the girls Allison Grodnick and Morgan Lunders, they told me that they get their eyebrows done every 2 weeks. I asked them how long they have been getting theirs done for and they said since seventh grade.

     Doing this story and interviewing people, I would say guys don’t really care about how their eyebrows look unless they have a significant reason. Such reasons would be if they had a unibrow, then they would get the middle plucked so their eyebrows would stay separated. For girls I would say eyebrows are a big factor on how they look which is why they put a lot of emphasis on getting them done on a regular basis.
