The Totino-Grace E’gals Dance Team is one of the most victorious teams in the state of Minnesota. The team is led by coaches Kristen Gagnon, Angee Forte and Rachel Doran. All coaches are Totino-Grace alumni and former E’gals. Kristen and Angee were teammates on the dance team. Kristen graduated in 1993 and Angee graduated in 1995.

Kristen spends her time outside of coaching working as a realtor and spending time with her family. Angee graduated and attended the University of Minnesota and now is an elementary educator. The two of them were teammates, worked at a bridal shop together and now coach together.

TG has changed since they attended in many ways. The commons used to have pink and teal walls with no addition to the back of the school. They did not have uniforms, they just had to wear anything blue or white. The main office used to be the library, but the tasty cookies have stayed the same. The dance team still holds the same traditions, such as prayer services the night before invitationals, sections and state. E’gals have also always yelled “E’gals are hot!” before performances and we always kiss the dance floor before state.

The only changes are that they only had one long season and dancers could not join until they were sophomores. Angee did choir her freshman year, since she could not join E’gals yet. They both share similar high points from their time at TG. Most of their fondest memories are from dance team. They both were state champions when they attended TG and have many state titles now as coaches.

Kristen enjoyed her senior year since many teams went to state including the E’gals where they won with Kristen as a senior and Angee as a sophomore. One of Angee fondest memories was being a double state champion. The two of them have been coaching together for over 20 years. The two of them both have much love and passion in what they do and that is the drive that has continued their coaching. They both continue to inspire their dancers and teach them about dance as well as life.
