Zantigo Review

Are you tired of eating at the same old mexican fast food restaurants like Taco Bell and Taco John’s? If yes, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try Zantigo. Zantigo is a mexican fast food restaurant that has been around since 1969. There are five locations throughout Minnesota, one in Blaine, Fridley, Bloomington, Woodbury, and St. Paul.

If you like Taco Bell and Taco John’s, you will love Zantigo. If you don’t like Taco Bell or Taco John’s, you will love Zantigo. Like Taco Bell, Zantigo has many delicious taco, enchilada, quesadilla, and burrito options to choose from. However, they have one thing that Taco Bell doesn’t, and those are chilitos. Chilitos are like mini burritos surrounded by a warm, soft tortilla with chili sauce inside, and covered with cheese. That may not sound appealing, but once you try one, you will look at mexican food differently. Chilitos are what make Zantigo unique among other Mexican fast food restaurants. If you like spicy food, you can get a hot chilito. If you aren’t a spicy person, they have mild chilitos to select from as well for the same price. “I like the hot chilitos because they taste great and are a bang for your buck,” said Reid Olson. Zantigo also has little circular fried potatoes called, “‘Tigo Fries,” which are an upgraded version of the famous Taco John’s Potato Oles. So, really, you can get the Taco Bell and Taco John’s experience while getting something unique.

Zantigo also has good prices for the quality of their food. More often than not, you can walk out of there with a full stomach and spend about six to seven dollars. They have combo options that give you a full meal for a reasonable price. It’s about the same price as Taco Bell which has some pretty low prices. The only difference between Zantigo and Taco Bell is the food because Zantigo has way better quality food than Taco Bell.
