French Trip 2016

Hannah Daley, Contributer

Over spring break, many of the french students visited France as their vacation. During their stay, the students stayed with a french family for five days in the cities of Toulon, Ollioules and Marseilles. When they concluded their family stay, they visited Nice and Paris as well. While visiting these cities, they went to Le Louvre, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge, The Eiffel Tower, Champs Élysées, and many more world renowned buildings and destinations!

Senior Stefanie Draper says, “I would definitely recommend this trip to other students! It was very interesting to experience another culture and a great opportunity to learn more about the language and their way of life.” She also stated that her favorite memory of the trip was being on top of the Eiffel Tower, where she got to see a beautiful view of Paris.

Rylie Spehn made a special connection with her french family. “I love them and am going to miss them. I will stay in touch with them forever. Making connections with them was my best memory!”

As Stefanie stated above, this trip opens many opportunities to see the french culture and learn about the language. If you are currently in french, make sure you don’t miss out on the next opportunity to visit this amazing country!
